Japonya’da açılan yeni bir internet sitesi dünyanın koku haritasını meraklılarına sunuyor. Aralık ayından beri faaliyet gösteren ”Nioi-bu” (Koku Kulübü) adlı sitede, pişen pirinç kokusundan yazın giyilmiş çorap kokusuna kadar dünya üzerinde bulunabilecek 160 farklı koku, Google’ın harita hizmeti kullanılarak, yerleriyle birlikte kullanıcılara sunuluyor.

Sadece Japonca yayın yapan sitenin “koku uzmanları” adı verilen yaklaşık 200 üyesi bulunuyor. Kullanıcılar sitedeki dünya haritası üzerinde istedikleri noktaya tıklayarak o bölgedeki kokular hakkında bilgi sahibi olabiliyor ve haritada olmayan yeni kokuları siteye ekleyebiliyor.

Sitenin tek eksiğinin, adı verilen kokuların koklanamaması olduğunu belirten üyeler bundan sonraki hedeflerinin bunu başarmak olduğunu söylüyor.
